Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for onsite manufacturing in the food and beverage sector.

You will lead the QA team, drive compliance with SQF, USDA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, and partner with Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Warehouse to uphold product quality. This role focuses on laboratory oversight, CAPA, audits, testing, and timely release of finished goods while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and food safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in QA/QC within food manufacturing, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA requirements.
• Experience leading audits, CAPA, customer complaints, nonconformances, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Strong laboratory testing, documentation, and product release understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team and laboratory personnel; establish priorities and monitor QA coverage.
• Ensure products and processes meet established quality and food safety standards; drive CAPA.
• Oversee QA activities across receiving, production, laboratory, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Lead internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits and respond to findings.
