Actalent is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a team of QA Inspectors and Lab Techs at our North Chicago, IL facility. You will mentor staff, prioritize daily QA activities, and oversee holds, rework, trials, and defect management to sustain quality and regulatory alignment.

You will work closely with Operations to resolve line issues, implement preventive actions, and maintain robust QA documentation and metrics.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Strong packaging knowledge; chemical manufacturing exposure preferred.
• Expertise with ISO 9001, 21 CFR Part 820, and related standards.
• Hands-on audits and inspections experience.
• Proven track record in process improvement and data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with import/export regulatory guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a QA team of Inspectors and Lab Techs.
• Prioritize daily quality activities and manage multiple tasks.
• Oversee QA operations including holds, rework, trials, and defects.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve line issues promptly.
• Monitor corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Enforce quality standards aligning with regulations and goals.
• Maintain detailed quality documentation and SOPs.
• Support audits, inspections, and ISO compliance.
• Track quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize Excel or other tools for risk analysis and decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance QA methodologies.
