Job summary

Stratas Foods is seeking a Food Quality Lab Technician I on the 2nd shift in Dallas, TX. This full-time role involves analytical testing of vegetable oils, data entry, and packaging line QA to ensure product quality.

The position requires a High School diploma and preferred 3 years of laboratory experience. Duties include safety compliance, training attendance, and timely reporting of test results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years’ previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to management when test results indicate corrective action is necessary.
• Prioritize samples as they arrive in laboratory.
• Complete analytical testing and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Enter all analysis into data base (TLC).
• Learn new procedures as necessary.
• Develop a thorough understanding of laboratory processes and procedures.
• Attend all training and safety meetings as scheduled.
• Comply with safety, GMP and environmental rules and policies.
• Attend scheduled safety and GMP meetings.
• Packaging line Quality Assurance.
