Stratas Foods in Quincy, IL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to conduct analytical testing of vegetable oils in a manufacturing setting. You will record data electronically, keep a clean lab, and test samples at various process points.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic data entry skills. Experience with food safety is a plus, and weekend/overtime work may be required. Stratas Foods offers medical, dental, vision and 401k benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate to management when test results indicate that corrective action is necessary.
• Prioritize oil samples as they arrive in the laboratory.
• Complete analytical testing and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Enter all analysis into data base (TLC).
• Learn procedures as necessary.
• Develop a thorough understanding of laboratory processes and procedures.
• Attend all training and safety meetings as scheduled.
