Job summary

OSI Industries in Tipton, IN seeks a supervisor to oversee safe production and HACCP compliance across a broad product range. You will supervise employees, manage record keeping, and ensure adherence to quality and government requirements.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in food science or related field, 2+ years in food manufacturing, and strong leadership, planning and communication skills. Varying shifts and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Supervisory and technical skills preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HACCP program development, implementation and record keeping.
• Maintain HACCP/FOOD Safety records and annual validations.
• Train HACCP team on GMP/SSOP and ensure compliance with FDA/usDA expectations.
• Interact with USDA inspector on HACCP/SSOP issues and relay follow-ups to QA leadership.
• Supervise scheduling, performance, hiring, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Facilitate shift transitions and ensure safe working conditions and adherence to GMPs.
• Prepare routine and special quality/safety reports and manage product recall processes.
