Job summary

Classic Salads is seeking a QC Specialist to join the Quality Control Department in our Yuma facility. You will assist the QA Manager by monitoring sanitation activities and inspecting safety devices to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2–5 years in Produce Quality Assurance, a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), and bilingual English/Spanish. Travel to Yuma, AZ is required during winter months.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Produce Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety practices.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Willingness to travel to Yuma, AZ during winter months.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Classic Salads Food Safety and GMP policies.
• Perform daily ATP swabbing tests on product contact surfaces and document results.
• Verify daily sanitizer solution for hand dips and tools.
• Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of processing areas.
• Document findings and report to Sanitation Supervisor/QA Manager.
• Perform weekly inspections of pest control devices.
• Wear required PPE and work in cold/wet environments.
