Classic Salads seeks a Quality Control Technician to ensure all products meet quality and food safety standards in a plant environment. You will monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, enforce GMPs, HACCP, and calibrations, and support QA leadership in continuous improvement.

The role requires reading/writing English, Spanish language ability, and reliability to work in a fast-paced production setting with PPE and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• One year of produce quality experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to Classic Salads GMP Policies and basic policies.
• Measure, maintain, and control sanitizer levels and wash water temperature.
• Comply with GMPs and food safety regulations; HACCP principles.
• Verify Critical Control Points and document compliance.
• Calibrate scales and thermometers; document calibration.
• Perform product sampling and ensure compliance with dating; check seal integrity and product sizing.
• Track the release of finished product meeting quality standards; assist HOLDs as needed.
• Wear required PPE and work overtime or weekends as needed.
