Job summary

Pictsweet Company is seeking a QA inspector to test and inspect products at various stages of production. You will monitor sanitation, inspect processing equipment, and record test data to ensure compliance with customer specs and government regulations.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and ability to read safety rules and procedures. Experience in food QA is preferred; strong adherence to PPE and safety guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food quality assurance or related field preferred.
• Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and statistical analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tests and inspects product at various production stages.
• Monitors sanitation procedures and ensures equipment is sanitized.
• Records test data and maintains data records.
• Assists production in meeting specifications and regulations.
• Notifies supervisor if samples are out of grade.
• Checks and records weights, temperatures, and chlorine concentrations.
• Inspects packaging, labels, and coding for compliance.
• Follows safety policies and wears PPE at all times.
