Job summary

Peco-Foods is seeking a quality control inspector to ensure every product meets customer specifications and to uphold the highest hygiene standards in our facility. You will visually inspect lots, identify deviations, and report issues to management to ensure product integrity.

Responsibilities include maintaining strict hygiene per GMP policies, inspecting for natural and processing defects, and escalating abnormal situations such as unauthorized personnel, suspected adulteration, or equipment

Responsibilities

• Know and understand the customer specification for each product.
• Visually scan pieces of product and remove those not conforming to the specification.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness per GMP policies.
• Inspect products for natural occurring and processing defects.
• Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor or plant management.
• Abnormal situations include unauthorized personnel in restricted areas.
• Abnormal situations include suspected product adulteration.
• Abnormal situations include equipment malfunction affecting wholesomeness.
