Job summary

Pures Food Specialties LLC is seeking a QA Technician to protect food safety and quality across all manufacturing processes. You will perform sampling, testing, and documentation to meet regulatory and customer requirements, reporting findings to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities include ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance, participating in environmental monitoring, and supporting daily process controls. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success in a fast paced bakery

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college science courses or experience in the food industry.
• Training in HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points).
• Training in a GFSI standard such as BRC or SQF.

Responsibilities

• Protect food safety by sampling, testing, and documenting procedures in line with GMPs and HACCP.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (international, national, state, and local) and customer requirements.
• Maintain safety, legality, and quality of products and processes across the facility.
• Report food safety and quality issues to supervision and participate in investigations.
• Support environmental monitoring programs, swab sampling, and ATP systems where applicable.
• Assist in daily bakery inspections and calibration of measurement devices.
