Job summary

The Ziegenfelder Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure finished treats meet quality standards and packaging readiness across production lines.

You will review QA processes, help implement improvements, perform lab tests, monitor sanitation, HACCP and GMP compliance, and document results for the Quality Manager. This role requires 1+ years in a food manufacturing setting and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience with Food Safety, HACCP, SQF, SSOP & GMP and QA process improvement.
• SQF certification preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inputs and monitor production to ensure treats are ready for packaging.
• Review and document QA processes and suggest improvements.
• Participate in sanitation, sampling, and environmental monitoring activities.
• Record data, run microbiological tests, and report findings to QA Manager.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOP, SSOP and related directives.
