Freshline Produce LLC. in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure production quality and GMP compliance. You will develop and enforce GMP systems, validate processes and maintain documentation while supporting staff.

The role focuses on QA checks, HACCP team participation, and ongoing training to improve product quality and safety in a fast-paced fruit/vegetable processing facility.

Formación

• Strong supervisory, communication, training and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent documentation.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety regulations is a plus.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, label, date and inventory WIP products in cold storage daily.
• Log and report discarded WIP and provide data to Production and Procurement.
• Perform production line quality checks: product quality, case quality, GMP, temperatures and labels.
• Conduct metal detector checks and investigate false detections root causes.
• Oversee handling of knives and ensure safe distribution to staff.
• Train and coach team members; monitor GMP compliance and infractions.
