The Talent Shop is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for a growing food manufacturing operation in New Jersey. You will oversee daily QA/QC activities, ensure audit-ready documentation, monitor GMPs and allergen controls, and lead improvement initiatives across production areas.

Ideal candidates have QA/QC experience in food manufacturing, strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, and leadership capabilities to guide teams and coordinate with operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing QA/QC.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP concepts, sanitation, allergen controls and food safety documentation.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP, PCQI, SQF, or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily quality control and food safety activities throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are audit-ready.
• Monitor GMPs, sanitation practices, allergen controls, and food safety procedures.
• Conduct inspections of production, storage, cooler, and freezer areas.
• Monitor quality metrics, product specifications, labeling accuracy, and traceability programs.
• Identify and address quality issues through corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audit activities.
• Train and coach employees on food safety, GMPs, and quality expectations.
• Partner with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns.
