Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking a QA Technician to join the Production Team. This role involves routine sampling and testing of products and materials at multiple production stages, and documenting all quality and safety checks.

You will help ensure GMP compliance and assist with corrective actions as needed. The position requires the ability to stand long shifts, work in a loud, wet, cold environment, and flexibility to work six days with possible overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in quality and food safety systems preferred but not required.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Routine sampling and testing of Fresh Express products and materials at various stages of production.
• Recognizing, identifying, documenting, and communicating analytical, quality, and food safety evaluations and checks.
• Recognizing, identifying, communicating and documenting out-of-spec samples.
• Ensuring adjustments to meet specifications and rechecking after adjustments to ensure quality.
• Help ensure GMP compliance throughout the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
