Job summary

The Nir Family YMCA, part of the YMCA of Southern NC, is seeking a Food Services Coordinator to assist the Senior Director of Food Services in overseeing the organization’s CACFP and SFSP programs. The role emphasizes accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance while growing future food program initiatives for the community.

Responsibilities include coordinating meal counts, claims, and training; managing food orders and inventory; and supporting site visits and monitoring in accordance

Qualifications

• One year’s experience with CACFP and/or SFSP in an administrative capacity.
• At least 21 years of age or older.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support CACFP and SFSP sponsorships, including meal counts, claims, applications, required training, workshops, and conferences.
• Coordinate food ordering and distribution using enrollment data and weekly pull charts.
• Maintain CACFP/SFSP inventory, prepare deliveries or pickups with partners.
• Ensure timely CACFP reporting by logging site data and filing documents on shared platforms.
