Harry & David is seeking a production supervisor to lead a shift in our Ohio facility. You will guide a team in daily operations, ensure compliance with GMPs, and monitor quality and labor standards.

You will train staff, reallocate staff across areas as needed, and collaborate with QA to verify product specs are correct. The role requires strong communication, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt to a changing production schedule.

• Leadership experience in a Production/Manufacturing setting.
• Motivation to achieve production goals and ability to motivate others.
• Flexible and able to adapt to a changing production schedule.
• Positive self-starter, team oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Mansioni

• Follow the Machine Setup and Operation Guide in the Instruction Manual for the assigned area.
• Train associates as outlined in the Work Instructions in the Instruction Manual for the assigned area.
• Ensure associates in the assigned area leave and return from breaks and lunches on time, are dressed properly, follow GMPs, and keep personal items out.
• Move associates to different areas within the Food Production Department based on business needs.
• Be familiar with the product specs and contact Quality Assurance if a spec is incorrect or missing information.
• Maintain production quality and quantity and manage labor standards for the area.
• Follow procedures and SOPs for metal detection.
• Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by Food Production Management
