Job summary

Growscape is seeking a Production Supervisor in OH to oversee the designated department on a specific shift and coach team members for performance and quality. You will ensure safe operations, track production data, and maintain compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a good working knowledge of production processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a hands-on leader with strong writing and verbal communication skills and possess good communication/interpersonal skills and get along well with others.
• Must be able to read production schedule compliance.

Responsibilities

• Understand the manufacturing process as it relates to equipment start-up and operations.
• Supervise minor routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and ensure root cause corrections and participate in performance of these processes; Monitor, maintain and improve key performance indicators daily.
• Lead training effort of new employees as it relates to production, operation, lockout-tag out, forklift, and other business needs.
• Accurately track and enter production data into the Work Order system and verify shift production matches the induction report.
• Direct daily shift production of assigned departments and ensure all product meets quality specifications.
• Accurately complete all administrative paperwork.
• Achieve business goals in areas like safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Assist with performance reviews, plus other supervisory activities.
• Lead tool box meetings daily.
• Support all company policies and procedures.
• Execute coaching and corrective discipline.
• Ensure compliance of direct reports to all policies and procedures of The HC Companies.
• Lead by example and perform all job duties in accordance with Growscape values.
• Perform other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
