Job summary

Harry & David, LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily activities in our distribution and production environment. This role oversees labor, materials, product output, safety, quality, customer service, systems, and cost to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operations each day.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership experience in warehouse/distribution settings and is proficient with SAP and WMS.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3–5 years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, production, or similar environment.
Experience leading teams and driving accountability and performance.
Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations in the distribution center or production facility, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and service expectations are met.
Staff shifts within budget guidelines and adjust staffing as needed.
Monitor productivity, labor costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to employees throughout the shift.
Foster a positive work environment with engagement, teamwork, and accountability.
Develop staff for growth and succession, including performance reviews and feedback.
Coordinate with QA to meet SQF/FSMA requirements and safety programs.
