Job summary

Tyson Foods in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive high production, quality and yields. You will maintain safe working conditions, supervise staffing, and manage daily production processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (vocational preferred) and 1+ year of manufacturing supervision. Travel may be needed; sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership, problem-solving, work ethic; able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food industry processes and equipment; budgeting/financial indicators experience.
• Some travel may be required; sponsorship not available.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the best team possible.
• Hire, train, retain and coach team members; educate on benefits and policies.
• Guide shifts and rotate workstations to balance workload.
• Review daily production orders for on-time fulfillment and accurate shipments.
• Ensure all stations are staffed and machinery is functioning; enforce USDA safety standards.
• Oversee processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors on problem solving.
• Provide ongoing education on quality importance.
• Perform other duties as needed.
