Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; additional vocational or college courses preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing environment and prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer skills: Basic computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities; ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team, including hiring, training, retaining, and counseling on benefits and policies.
• Guide the team with stretches before shifts and rotate workstations during shifts.
• Check daily production orders for on-time fulfillment and accurate shipments.
• Ensure all line stations are staffed before production starts.
• Verify machinery performance and USDA inspection readiness on all workstations.
• Promote safety through daily practice and monthly meetings.
• Oversee operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems.
• Provide ongoing education on quality standards.
