Job summary

Symrise is seeking an entry-level Utility Operator to support manufacturing operations at our Columbus, GA facility. You will assist with equipment setup, monitor production lines, and help ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

No prior manufacturing experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. You will follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, perform basic quality checks, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior manufacturing experience required; exposure to food/beverage is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP and basic food safety practices advantageous but training will be provided.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating can fillers, bottle fillers, bag-in-box fillers, and tunnel pasteurizers under supervision.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure product quality and safety.
• Adhere to GMP and HACCP guidelines to maintain product integrity.
• Set up, clean, and maintain production equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE correctly.
