Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Production Operator to support food manufacturing lines in Prosperity, SC. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth production and adherence to quality and safety standards.

You will perform quality checks, maintain sanitation, support safety protocols (OSHA) and report deviations promptly. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Prefer prior experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Familiarity with GMPs and OSHA safety practices is desirable.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging).
• Set up machinery per production specs and maintain proper function.
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished products.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs for assembly, packaging and labeling.
