Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son in Prosperity, SC is seeking a Production Operator to operate and set up food production equipment, monitor processes, and maintain sanitation in the production area.

You will follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols to ensure quality and safety across our manufacturing lines. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and safety regulations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery including mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment.
• Set up machinery according to production specifications and ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor production flow and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency.
• Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Follow SOPs and GMPs for assembly, packaging, and labeling to ensure quality.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the production area.
• Record production data in the Redzone system and assist with inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates; overtime and non-standard hours may be required.
