Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator for a 6:00pm-6:00pm shift at our Gaylord, MN facility. You will run computerized process systems, operate HTST and CIP lines, and maintain sanitation, safety, and quality across the production area.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, flexibility for overtime, and willingness to learn multi-functional tasks in a dairy processing environment. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in high and confined spaces while following safety procedures.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate HTST processing system and CIP system; record time, temperature, pressure, and flow as required.
• Clean silos, mix room, totes, pumps, UHT press; hook up CIP lines.
• Monitor CIP systems and chemical concentrations to meet company and USDA standards.
• Prepare written reports and maintain logs and records as required by company and USDA.
• Coordinate with packaging lead to ensure timely startup of production line.
• Adhere to GMPs; maintain sanitary conditions and ensure product quality.
