Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. is hiring for a 12-hour night shift position at the Gaylord facility. You will operate the UHT processing and CIP systems, supervise other processors, and ensure safety and food quality compliance with USDA standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. Strong attention to safety, basic math, and computer skills are important for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups in English.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Comfort with computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Operate UHT processing and CIP systems and record data (time/temperature/pressure/flow).
• Maintain sanitation, GMP and safety practices.
• Coordinate with packaging lead for line startup and status.
• Train processing personnel and supervise cleanliness during cleanup.
• Prepare reports and logs; ensure compliance with QA and USDA.
• Ensure customer and company standards are met in mixing and processing.
