Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee the efficient operation of plant equipment through mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance. The role requires diagnosing failures, tuning equipment via drawings and PLC/SCADA logic, and maintaining GMP/Safety standards.

The position involves training new associates, supporting production, and ensuring safe, reliable equipment performance across Rich’s facilities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in food processing maintenance or production equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production equipment and control systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to train others in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses maintenance failures across plant equipment.
• Reads drawings, P&ID diagrams, and manuals to tune equipment for operation.
• Uses electrical principles (VFDs, motor starters) and PLC logic to resolve issues.
• Performs basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities maintenance as needed.
• Trains associates on required maintenance skill sets.
• Maintains a safe, GMP-compliant work area and completes required paperwork.
