Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Chicago Heights, IL to perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment and facility structures.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting VFDs and PLCs, and ensuring safe, compliant operations across shifts in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Be able to read and interpret electrical control schematics.
Available to work any shift.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facility structure.
Set-up, troubleshoot, and repair stacking, bagging, check-weighing, UPC bar coding, case erectors, and conveyor equipment.
Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment for repairs, cleaning, and lubrication per maintenance schedules.
Test, troubleshoot, and repair 110/230/460-volt electrical equipment including motors, starters, relays, panels, and wiring.
