Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Hanover, PA is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician for the 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Tue-Sat). You will maintain a clean and safe food manufacturing environment, ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates will safely operate cleaning equipment, follow GMPs and allergen control procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sanitation processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all sanitation, safety, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and sanitation tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow SDS instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, noisy, and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant cleaning and sanitation activities according to the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness throughout all areas of the facility.
• Operate powered cleaning equipment and related tools.
• Follow safe lifting and material handling procedures.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment as needed.
• Learn and apply allergen elimination procedures and GMPs.
