Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation in Centre Hall, PA is seeking a 1st Shift Sanitation Person (Industrial Cleaner) to perform sanitation and deep cleaning across Production and Entrée Departments. Shift is 7am - 3pm, with potential overtime on other shifts.

The role includes operating basic cleaning equipment and assisting on general clean-up duties to ensure audit readiness. The position requires 0–2 years in industrial sanitation, ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial sanitation and cleaning.
• Familiar with safety procedures and PPE use.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain USDA cleanliness standards in Production and Entrée Departments.
• Disassemble, scrub, wash, dry, and reassemble equipment as required.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, pipes, smokestacks, and ventilation hoods.
• Operate forklift or electric pallet jack occasionally.
• Prepare equipment for next day’s production run.
• Follow Master Sanitation Schedule and aid in audits.
