Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in North Carolina is seeking a sanitation worker responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production machines, parts, and areas. You will follow safety, LOTO, and labeling guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting team members.

The role requires willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends; OSHA knowledge and basic math are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in a refrigerated food plant with potential for growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
• Spanish Speaking is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Must follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Must follow LOTO program.
• Must follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Responsible for safely cleaning the production facility and equipment.
• Must be willing to help co-workers and support a team environment.
• Verify assigned area is ready for sanitation and production.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities and reassemble/test production machines after cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
