Job summary

Reser’s is seeking a dedicated Sanitation worker for our Memphis, TN facility to clean and sanitize production machines, parts, and work areas.

Responsibilities include following safe chemical handling, adhering to LOTO and labeling guidelines, and supporting a collaborative team environment to maintain a clean, compliant production floor.Physical demands include lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, and working varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Will work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Must follow LOTO program.
• Must follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Responsible for safely cleaning production facility and equipment.
• Willing to help co-workers and support a Team Member environment.
• Verify area is ready for Sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities, reassemble and test machines.
• Follow steps of sanitation and sanitize areas of responsibility.
• Inspect all equipment after cleaning.
• Verify area is ready for production after sanitation is complete.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
