Job summary

Reser\'s is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure cleanliness of production machines, parts, and areas. You will follow chemical handling procedures, participate in LOTO, label practices, and support a team-oriented environment.

Preferred candidates have food-plant sanitation experience, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to read/write English; Spanish is a plus. The job may involve varied shifts, including nights and weekends, in a refrigerated facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Willing to work various shifts, including nights and some weekends.
• Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic.skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Follow LOTO program.
• Follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Safely clean production facility and equipment.
• Assist co-workers and uphold a Team Member environment.
• Verify area is ready for Sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment issues; reassemble and test equipment.
• Follow proper sanitation steps to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning.
• Verify area is ready for production to start after sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
