Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Roanoke Rapids, NC is seeking a sanitation worker to clean and sanitize production machines, areas, and equipment. You will follow safety procedures, LOTO, and chemical labeling while supporting a clean, safe facility and teamwork with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Sanitation experience in a food plant preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Shift work including nights and some weekends.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Must follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Must follow LOTO program.
• Must follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Responsible for safely cleaning the production facility and equipment.
• Must work with coworkers and support a Team Member environment.
• Verify assigned area is ready for Sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities; reassemble and test machines.
• Follow proper sanitation steps; clean and sanitize areas.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning.
• Verify area is ready for production after sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
