Job summary

Reser is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure production machines, parts and areas are cleaned and sanitized. The role requires following safety procedures, LOTO, and chemical labeling guidelines in a refrigerated food plant environment.

You will dismantle, clean, reassemble equipment per SSOP, verify readiness for sanitation and production, and maintain a clean, organized work area while supporting teammates and occasional weekend/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
• Spanish Speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Must follow LOTO program.
• Must follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Responsible for safely cleaning the production facility and equipment.
• Must be willing to help co-workers and uphold a Team Member environment.
• Verify assigned area is ready for Sanitation.
• Dismantles, cleans and reassembles assigned production equipment as needed per SSOP.
• Identifies and reports any equipment opportunities identified, reassembles and tests all production machines and equipment.
• Must follow the proper steps of sanitation and cleans and sanitizes areas of responsibility.
• Inspects all equipment after it has been cleaned.
• Verify assigned area is ready for production to start after Sanitation is complete.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
