Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods - Century Plant in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure production machines and areas are cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities include following safe chemical handling, LOTO, and labeling; cleaning equipment; supporting teammates; and preparing areas for production.

Prior experience in a food plant is preferred; high school or equivalent required; Spanish language helpful; English reading/writing required; ability to lift up to 60 lbs; shifts may include

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Shift work including nights and some weekends.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Follow LOTO program.
• Follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Safely clean production facility and equipment.
• Support team environment and assist in cleaning as needed.
• Verify area is ready for sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities; reassemble and test.
• Follow proper sanitation steps; clean and sanitize areas.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning.
• Verify area is ready for production after sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
