Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Management, or five or more years' related experience.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management with KPI results.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with budgets, forecasting and metrics.
  • Strong communication across all levels from plant floor to executive leadership.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily plant operations from production to safety.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for plant operations.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace and compliance with policies.
  • Maintain quality and food safety standards and GMP compliance.
  • Coach and develop staff; drive KPI performance.
  • Plan capital projects and manage budgets.
  • Identify performance improvements to meet KPIs.
  • Increase production capacity while controlling costs.
  • Uphold regulatory and customer compliance.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
