Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Management or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management with KPI results.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to analyze downtime and financial variance trends and take action.
Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics.
Ability to present information to all levels from plant floor to executives.
Strong communication, time management and attention to detail.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production to manufacturing.
Provide leadership and coordination for plant operations.
Ensure a safe and healthy workplace and adherence to safety policies.
Maintain GMPs, sanitary conditions and product quality.
Ensure compliance with plant, corporate, customer and regulatory requirements.
Coach and develop plant staff to meet KPIs on safety, quality, and productivity.
Plan and supervise capital project progress.
Develop and implement operating and financial objectives including annual budget.
Identify and implement strategies to improve performance and bottlenecks.
Increase production capacity while minimizing unnecessary costs.
