Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties, LLC. is seeking a maintenance technician to join our climate-controlled facility. You will perform setup, repair, and preventive maintenance on ovens, packing lines, conveyors, and related equipment to minimize downtime and support the production team.

We require 2-5 years in a food manufacturing setting, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work flexible hours. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial bakery and/or food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Experience with conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulics; welding experience a plus; PLC diagnostics desirable.
• Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) is an advantage; self-starter, good communication, team player.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 60 pounds; willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, repair, and maintenance of production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to resolve malfunctions.
• Repair plumbing, hydraulics, and cutting tools to support operations.
• Operate power tools safely and follow safety protocols; weld components as needed.
• Diagnose PLC and electrical issues to maintain automation systems.
• Document maintenance activities and inspections for compliance and records.
• Collaborate with production to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
• Support changeovers by preparing and adjusting equipment for production needs.
