Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of production equipment, including conveyors, mixers, packaging lines and refrigeration systems.

You will diagnose faults, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and respond to urgent breakdowns during production to minimize downtime. The role requires strong safety compliance, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school education preferred.
• 5 years of related experience in an automated industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing.
• 5 years of troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery including conveyors, mixers, packaging, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency unscheduled repairs during production to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production area and ensure sanitation standards.
