Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site technician in Swedesboro, NJ to maintain electrical and control systems for food manufacturing equipment. You will document systems, diagnose issues, and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts to minimize downtime.

Occasional offsite support and training are required. The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, safety, and quality standards, with hands-on maintenance of AC/DC and servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related components.

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in maintaining electrical/control systems for manufacturing equipment.
Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control docs.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software is preferred.
Capable of basic to advanced troubleshooting and mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems and update as needed.
Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with mechanics.
Coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and provide training when required.
Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on systems and networks.
Keep accurate work records and comply with GMP, safety, and quality controls.
