Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and enhance machinery used in food manufacturing. The role focuses on electrical and control systems, covering both hardware and software to keep production running smoothly.

You will document work, support Electro-Mechanics, train staff across shifts, and occasionally travel for offsite troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• High school/military training and practical experience in a related field.

Responsabilités

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Conduce electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment is operational.
• Address repairs during downtime following company specifications.
• Work independently or with a mechanic to rectify equipment failures.
• Complete tasks per government regulations, GMP, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Perform maintenance on batching and continuous process control systems (networks, AC/DC, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics).
• Maintain secondary systems for steam, water, pneumatic air, electricity, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions control.
• Keep accurate work records per work orders and backlog.
