Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site Electrical Technician in Swedesboro, NJ to maintain and enhance electrical and control systems in food manufacturing equipment. You will document work, troubleshoot issues, and support multiple shifts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software, reading electrical schematics, and performing maintenance across AC/DC, servo drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• High school/military training and practical experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on batching and continuous process control systems.
