Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking an on-site technician in Swedesboro, NJ to maintain and enhance electrical and control systems used in food manufacturing processes. You will document changes, diagnose issues with mechanics and electro-mechanics, and support shifts across plants.

The role requires installing and maintaining AC/DC systems, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related equipment, while ensuring adherence to GMP, safety, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• High school/military training with practical experience in machine and electrical control system installation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation.
• Proficient in completing forms detailing maintenance work performed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control-related issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Carry out preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on batching and continuous process control systems.
