Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Hanover, PA is hiring a Packer for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday). You will ensure finished goods are packaged safely, accurately, and efficiently, with a focus on quality inspections and food safety.

You will work closely with Packaging Operators, Coordinators, and Quality Assurance teams to perform packaging tasks, assist with line start-ups, sanitation, and adherence to GMPs and Lockout/Tagout procedures while supporting production needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment following safety and food safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to follow written instructions, packaging specifications, and production procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform manual labor.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons, trays, and displays for packaging according to specifications.
• Verify tape guns and packaging equipment have supplies and are functioning properly.
• Perform visual inspections of finished packaging for accuracy, codes, and seals.
• Remove out-of-spec products and communicate packaging concerns to operators or supervisors.
• Pack products according to packaging specifications and ensure correct labels are applied.
• Seal and prepare cartons for shipment and stack on pallets.
• Follow LOTO procedures during required cleaning and sanitation activities.
