Job summary

Campbell Soup Company is hiring a Packer for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) in Hanover, PA. You will ensure finished goods are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently while supporting quality inspections and GMPs.

You will prepare materials, inspect packaging, and communicate issues to team leaders; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required. Total rewards include health, dental, 401k and wellness programs from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment with food safety in mind.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to identify packaging defects.
• Follow packaging specs and production procedures accurately.
• Capable of repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with others.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull and perform manual labor as required.
• Lift up to 25 lbs continuously and up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Willing to work overtime as business needs require.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cartons, trays, and displays for packaging per specs.
• Verify tape guns and equipment have supplies and function properly.
• Perform visual inspections of finished packaging for codes and integrity.
• Remove out-of-spec products and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Pack products according to specifications and apply correct labels.
• Seal and prepare cartons for shipment; stack on pallets as directed.
• Move finished goods with pallet jacks and keep work areas clear.
• Assist with line changes and sanitation activities per procedures.
• Follow LOTO procedures during required cleaning tasks.
