Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Hanover, PA is seeking a Packaging Material Handler to support production by moving materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods through the facility. You will help maintain safety, organization, and efficient material flow to keep lines running.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate pallet jacks, read production schedules, and follow GMPs and PPE requirements. Overtime may be required; competitive benefits start day one.

• Ability to move, transport, and stage materials accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written instructions, production schedules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules to determine materials and products to move, stage, or distribute.
• Weigh and count materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Visually verify products and materials before transporting them between production and warehouse areas.
• Operate material handling equipment to transport materials safely.
• Support waste removal and tracking within the packaging area.
• Inspect loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery to production lines.
• Transport materials using manual pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Position lifting devices under pallets and secure materials for transport.
• Open bales, crates, and containers and dispose of packaging materials properly.
• Move equipment from storage to production floors and assist with setup.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and platforms manually or mechanically.
• Assist with packaging operations and other production support activities.
