Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Hanover, PA is hiring a Packaging Material Handler on C Shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating AWS schedule 4 days on, 4 days off). Starting pay is $20.45/hour.

You will read production schedules, weigh and count materials, and move items between production and warehouse areas. You will operate material handling equipment, support waste management, ensure loads are accurate, and help keep the packaging area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely work in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to move, transport, and stage materials accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety/quality standards.
• Ability to follow written instructions, schedules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules to determine materials to move, stage, or distribute.
• Weigh and count materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Visually verify products and materials before transporting between areas.
• Operate material handling equipment to move materials safely.
• Support waste removal and waste tracking in the packaging area.
• Inspect loads for accuracy and ensure timely delivery to production lines.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and transport equipment.
• Assist with packaging operations and production support tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure safe aisles/exits.
