Job summary

Sealed Air’s Demand Planner in Charlotte develops and maintains a consensus-based rolling 36-month demand forecast for North America Food, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain to support the IBP process and improve forecast accuracy.

You coordinate the monthly Pre-Demand Review, apply statistical forecasting techniques, monitor forecast performance and KPIs, and help implement tools and processes that drive operational excellence and informed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience in Demand Planning or related planning functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling 36-month demand forecast across profit centers, product hierarchies, and SKU levels.
• Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and customers to align demand assumptions using market trends and insights.
• Coordinate the monthly Pre-Demand Review by facilitating cross-functional meetings and gathering inputs.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and other KPIs while identifying improvement opportunities.
• Maintain weekly forecast versus actual sales reporting to identify demand trends for short-term planning.
• Develop demand models to support promotions, new products, and lifecycle transitions.
• Support scenario planning and what-if analyses using pricing and market trends.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain during supply-constrained situations to evaluate demand scenarios.
• Assist in implementing forecasting tools and systems improvements.
• Communicate forecast assumptions, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
