Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Demand Planner to lead short- and long-range demand forecasting for assigned product lines. You will analyze market drivers and forecast accuracy, collaborating with Commercial, Finance, and Central Planning teams to align forecasts with the master production schedule.

The role requires 2+ years in demand planning, familiarity with FuturMaster/Kinaxis/Stratum, and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Majors in Supply Chain, Finance, or Statistics preferred.
• 2+ years of Demand Planning experience preferred.
• APICS or CPIM certification a plus.
• Experience with FuturMaster, Kinaxis, Stratum, and AS/400.
• Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand for assigned product lines and channels.
• Analyze data from industry, sales, Central Planning, and Customer Service for forecasts.
• Validate forecast splits to Item/DC/week level.
• Publish CDP reports and forecast accuracy metrics.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning manager on projects and process improvements.
• Provide training to new demand planners.
