The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our prestigious team.

This position supervises 40+ employees in the Restaurant/Bar and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees within the department.

The Restaurant/Bar Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee training, development, & review
2. Delegation of Work Safety & Emergency Procedures
3. Enforcement of Job Descriptions
4. Job Performance Reviews
5. Staff Morale
6. Organization of documented employee files
7. Rewarding & Disciplining employees
8. Complete payroll on a daily basis
9. Managing department costs within budgetary goals which include food, beverage, and labor costs

Key Qualifications:

1. Three years Food & Beverage management in a luxury world-class hotel
2. Three years technical Food & Beverage experience and/or equivalent combination of education & experience
3. Previous employee management in Local 6 union environment
4. Primary quality detailed service ethic.
5. Strong interpersonal staff and guest relations.
6. Team-minded approach to fellow workers.
7. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
8. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
